Product
Specification |
- The product is supplied in cut
lengths of 0.914m (3'-0"), in bundles of 50 pieces, with fixing
screws packed with the product. Longer or shorter lengths can be
supplied to special order.
- Slots for fixing screws
asymmetrically pitched to ensure a screw is positioned 25mm from
each end when carrier is cut down to suit all standard door
sizes. See diagram.
- Carrier supplied in standard
mill finish aluminium.
- Exterior grade anodising in
gold, silver, or bronze can be supplied to special order, as can
white powder coating.
- Brush fibres supplied at a
standard trim length of 25mm in black nylon. Alternative lengths
can be supplied to special order.

Technical Details |
- The brush insert is made from
high quality nylon type 6, looped over a corrosion free core
wire and crimped into a galvanised steel retainer.
- The carrier is made from
extruded aluminium alloy type 6063/T6. It is designed with
curves and slopes to avoid dust collection, be free from shadow
lines and be easily wiped clean.

Fitting Details |
|
The seal fits at the bottom of the
door, normally on the side that opens inwards. Place the seal at
the bottom of the door and mark off the cut length required. Refer
to illustration for dimensional details. Remove brush insert and
cut carrier to length with hacksaw. Cut the brush insert in the
same way and crimp the cut end with pincers to retain the
filaments. Slide brush insert back into carrier and close both
ends with pincers or hammer to hold assembly together. Position so
that filaments lightly rest on floor and screw home through slots
provided. |
