Technical Details |
- Conforms to B.S. 476: Pt 31,
Section 31.1 for cold smoke seals.
- The seal is a woven
polypropylene pile which is sewn into a tough, stable backing
strip. It has a double integral weatherfin for increased sealing
efficiency. The silicone treatment provides low sliding forces
and resists water, mildew and corrosion.
- The carrier is extruded from
impact resistant PVCu smooth design lines and a linear groove
give an appealing, easy clean finish. Extra pins can be driven
straight through the carrier where required.

Fitting Details |
|
The seal fits on the inside of the
window or door frame, around all edges.
Measure and then cut to length the
piece to fit across the top of the frame to give a neat butt
joined corner.
Offer up to the frame, with the
opener in the closed position, and ensure the pile is in firm
contact with all parts of the frame making approximately 15-20%
compression.
Fix using pins provided.
Measure and cut to length the two
upright pieces and bottom if required to fit in the same manner as
above.
On door frames, the carrier
should be double pinned at the bottom. |
