Technical Details |
- The seal is made from high
quality silicone rubber with outstanding properties of
compression set and weathering. It will resist the elements
between -20°C to 200°C without shrinking, cracking or perishing.
It has excellent resistance to ageing, UV and Ozone. As the seal
is compressed it also seals between the carrier and the frame.
- The carrier is extruded from
impact resistant UPVC. Smooth design lines and a linear groove
give it an appealing, easy clean finish. On angled carriers, the
rear edge is designed to seal to the frame when the pins are
driven home. On the box carriers a secondary flexible seal is
provided. Extra pins can be driven straight through the carrier
where required.

Fitting Details |
|
The seal fits on the outside of the
window frame, to all sides. Measure and then cut to
length the piece to fit the head of the frame to give a neat butt
corner for box carriers, notched for angled. Offer up to the frame
ensuring approximately 25% compression is present along the entire
length the seal before the pins are driven home into the frame.
Measure then cut to length the two
upright pieces and fit to the frame in the same manner as
above. Finally cut and fit the piece to fit across the bottom. |
