Technical Details |
|
The seal is made of extruded
silicone elastomer giving it unique properties and making it ideal
for compression seal draught proofing. These include, exceptional
resistance to UV and weathering, an operating temperature range of
-30°C to 200°C and far superior compression set resistance to any
other material. |
|
Fitting Details |
|
The seal is fitted into the
innermost rebate of the window or door frame. The product must be
cut to suit each length and must not be curved round corners.
Ensure vertically mounted pieces are allowed to drain if
necessary. Fix into position with staples pitched at no more than
100mm (4"), for adhesive fixing. Ensure the substrate is cleaned
and degreased. Apply adhesive in a continuous bead, and press seal
into position. The window or door must be left partially open for
1½ hours for adhesive curing. No further adjustment will be
necessary. |
