Technical Details
  • A high grade silicone adhesive for the fixing of Totalseal Silicone 'O' tube, also suitable as a non-dynamic gap filling gasket.
  • Temperature resistance -40°C to +150°C
  • Cure time 2mm/24 hours - no shrinkage
  • Movement accommodation +/-25°C
  • Modulus 0.5N/mm²
Limitation
  • Not suitable for use with aquaria or continuous water immersion.
  • Over-painting is not recommended
Storage
  • Store in dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C
  • Shelf life in unopened conditions is 12 months
Fitting Instuctions

Cut across cartridge nose, attach screw-on nozzle and cut to give required bead size. Apply sealant firmly into place from a suitable cartridge gun. Where masking tape is used to protect a surface, it should be removed within 5 minutes of application. DO NOT EXCEED RECOMMENDED JOINT DIMENSIONS. Tooling down is advisable to remove air pockets. This should be carried out within 5 minutes of application using a spatula or smooth stick in conjunction with soapy water. Trim excess with a sharp knife.

For gasket draughtproofing - apply RELEASE AGENT (Neat washing up liquid) to the face of the casement door or window (Opener). Gun apply a bead of Sealant to the back face os the rebate, not exceeding the size of the gap to be sealed. Close doo0r or window with gentle pressure, trim off excess with a sharp knife.

 

Health and Safety
Caution - Contains acetoxysilicones, avoid contact of uncured sealant with eyes, mouth and skin. If contact occurs, wash thoroughly with water, if irritation persists, seek medical advice. Wear gloves when using, and after use wash hands thoroughly.
