Technical Details |
- The seal is made of extruded
silicone elastomer giving it unique properties and making it
ideal for compression seal draught proofing. These include,
exceptional resistance to UV and weathering, an operating
temperature range of -30°C to 200°C and far superior compression
set resistance to any other material.

Fitting Details |
|
The seal is normally fixed to the
top edge of each louvre pane with the blade pointing outwards. On
the bottom louvre pane fix to the lower edge with the blade
pointing inwards. Fitting can be carried out from inside the
building. The edge to be sealed must be degreased prior to
adhesive application. Cut
the louvre seal to the required length. Apply a bead of adhesive
into the foot of the seal, then slide the seal into position over
the edge of the glass. When all panes have seal fitted, the window
must be left partially open for 1½ hours for adhesive curing. No
further adjustment will be necessary. |
