- The product is supplied in cut
lengths of 2.1m (6'-10⅝"), in bundles of 50 pieces, with fixing
pins packed with the product.
- Holes for fixing pins are
provided spaced at 12.5mm (5") centres, and are aligned along
the groove for ease of additional hole drilling.
- White carrier has white blade
seal.
- Brown carrier has black blade
seal.
- Self adhesive versions
available to special order.

Technical Details |
- Conforms to B.S. 476: Pt 31,
Section 31.1 for cold smoke seals.
- The seal is made form high
quality thermo plastic rubber. It will resist the elements
without shrinking, cracking or perishing. It has excellent
resistance to compression set, ageing, UV and ozone.
- The carrier is extruded from
impact resistant PVCu. Smooth design lines and a linear groove
give an appealing, easy clean finish. Extra pins can be driven
straight through the carrier where required.

Fitting Details |
|
For sash type windows, the seal is
fitted on the inside opener. Measure width of sliding sash and cut
to length to leave minimum gap at each end. Position seal as
illustrated ensuring maximum length of blade is opposing face.

The seal is fixed in the same way
for centre pivot windows, however it should be noted that the seal
has to be pinned on the opener face for the inward moving leaf,
and onto the window frame for the outward moving leaf. Give an
overall visual inspection and check for free and easy operation. |
